As in many cultures, it is protocol for a Ngunawal Traditional Custodian to welcome visitors and those gathering on the Ngunawal peoples' traditional Country.

GUIDED TOURS

The Ngunawal people’s traditional area has many sites of cultural significance. Have an experienced Aboriginal guide/Ngunawal traditional custodian interpret Aboriginal culture at various locations in and around Canberra.

LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS

A 2 hour workshop designed to teach an Acknowledgement of Country in Ngunawal language - the language of the traditional inhabitants of the ACT and surrounds.

The session also includes an overview of when it is appropriate to do an Acknowledgement of Country as well as a brief history on the Ngunawal language.

BUSH TUCKER/NATIVE GARDENS

We can create a garden design for your space incorporating native plants, Aboriginal concepts and cultural meaning.

CULTURAL HERITAGE SURVEYS/CONSULTATION

Thunderstone has been involved in many Aboriginal cultural heritage surveys over the years, to protect and conserve Aboriginal culture and heritage.

We can also provide hire of drone and operator for aerial photographs required as part of the project.
